AutoCAD Dynamic Blocks & Revit Families | Revit API | Precast BIM
Repetitive Revit and AutoCAD work is costing your team hours every week. I build the tools that make it take minutes. I'm a structural engineer who writes code. I don't just know the software, I know the drawings, the details, and why your team keeps redoing the same steps. That means less explaining on your side and tools that fit how your projects actually run. Every client so far has left a 5-star review. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🔧 WHAT I BUILD ▸ Revit API add-ins (C# / .NET): automated sheet creation, parameter management, model auditing, Excel ↔ Revit data sync ▸ Parametric Revit families: structural, precast and generic families, plus manufacturer product families (MEP equipment, fixtures) with accurate geometry, connectors and type catalogs ▸ Structural Revit modeling and documentation: clean structural models, sheets, schedules and details for engineering and precast firms ▸ Precast shop drawing automation: from model to fabrication-ready sheets and DXF output, with Revit/C# and Python ▸ Rebar and element schedules: automated quantities, piece marks and production lists straight from the model ▸ AutoCAD dynamic blocks: visibility states, lookup tables, attribute-driven parameters, plus AutoLISP / VBA routines ▸ Allplan PythonParts: custom parametric tools for precast detailing ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🏗️ WHY AN ENGINEER, NOT JUST A DEVELOPER I work daily in precast reinforced concrete design and BIM. When you describe a connection detail, a rebar schedule, or a sheet standard, I already understand it. You don't have to teach me the domain before I can automate it. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📌 RECENT PROJECT A design studio needed a large product library in AutoCAD. I built a complete parametric dynamic block library: every item with visibility states, lookup tables and attribute-driven parameters, visually validated across all configurations, plus a CSV export that builds their schedules directly from the drawing. Schedules that used to be typed by hand now come out of the drawing itself. The same approach works for Revit content libraries, precast element catalogs and production lists. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✅ HOW I WORK Short discovery call to understand the task and your standards Written scope with clear milestones and fixed deliverables Weekly demo builds, so you see progress instead of waiting Handover with clean, commented source code and a short guide. No black boxes. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Tools: Revit · Revit API · C# / .NET · Python · Dynamo · pyRevit · AutoCAD · AutoLISP · VBA · Allplan · ezdxf · Excel Have a repetitive structural, precast or BIM task and not sure it can be automated? Send me a short description. I'll tell you honestly whether it's worth automating and roughly what it would take.
