HVAC & Plumbing Designer | Manual J/S/D (Elite Software) | Revit MEP

Hi, I provide HVAC and Plumbing design support for residential and light commercial projects. I help homeowners, contractors, architects, and engineering teams prepare clear, practical, and well-coordinated MEP drawings for design, permit, and construction use. My work focuses on accurate calculations, clean construction drawings, practical pipe/duct routing, and coordinated Revit MEP modeling. ◆ HVAC Load Calculations & System Design I perform HVAC load calculations and system design using Elite Software RHVAC, following ACCA and ASHRAE standards commonly used for residential HVAC design in the U.S. This includes: • Manual J – Room-by-room heating and cooling load calculations • Manual S – Equipment selection based on actual load and design conditions • Manual D – Duct sizing and layout for balanced airflow • HVAC equipment layout and basic system design coordination Deliverables may include calculation reports, equipment sizing summaries, duct layouts, and HVAC permit drawings in PDF/DWG format. ◆ Plumbing Design & Permit Drawings I also provide plumbing design and drafting support for residential and light commercial projects. This includes domestic water, sanitary drainage, vent piping, and general plumbing layouts coordinated with architectural and structural drawings. Typical plumbing scope includes: • Domestic cold water and hot water piping layouts • Sanitary sewer and waste piping layouts • Vent piping layouts and riser diagrams • Fixture connections and pipe routing • Water heater, equipment, and fixture location coordination • Cleanout, floor drain, and plumbing fixture layout coordination • Basic plumbing schedules and notes for permit drawings • Coordination with architectural plans, structural elements, and other MEP systems My goal is to make the plumbing layout clear, buildable, and easy for contractors and engineers to review. Deliverables may include plumbing plans, riser diagrams, fixture connection layouts, equipment layouts, and permit-ready drawing sheets in PDF/DWG format. ◆ MEP BIM Modeling – Revit HVAC & Plumbing I develop coordinated 2D/3D MEP models in Autodesk Revit for HVAC and plumbing systems. This includes: • HVAC ductwork and equipment modeling • Domestic water piping modeling • Sanitary, waste, and vent piping modeling • Plumbing fixture connections • MEP coordination with architectural and structural Revit models • Coordination views and clash review support • Construction sheets and details for contractors I can work from architectural PDFs, CAD files, Revit models, sketches, redlines, or engineer markups depending on the project stage. Typical deliverables include Revit models, MEP plans, coordination views, construction sheets, riser diagrams, and PDF/DWG drawing packages. Note: I provide design and drafting support. If your project requires a licensed PE stamp, final review and approval should be provided by a licensed Professional Engineer in the project state. My goal is to provide clear, practical, and well-coordinated HVAC and plumbing deliverables that help move the project smoothly from design to permit and construction.
