Throughout my career I have demonstrated loyal, tenured professional experience designing products for world-wide, Industry leading corporations. It has been a great privilege and honor to build classic, durable, high quality and environmentally friendly products for iconic brands. The types of categories I have specialized in have ranged from footwear, travel gear, outdoor gear, backpacks, sporting goods equipment, accessories & adaptive. Being a creative person at heart, I am very passionate about bringing new concepts to life. Through my work I strive to create unique, useful, functional products that are aesthetically pleasing & built to last. With each project I aim to fully understand & enhance the user experience, producing relevant features sets paired with modern, timeless design language. By prioritizing customer desires through purposeful, thoughtful ideation & trend research, I have identified creative ways of solving issues that have resulted in the production of superior products that are competitive in the marketplace, garnering consumer enthusiasm, loyalty & trust. I have a successful track record of juggling multiple design projects & staying on track throughout the seasonal cycles through concept, prototype & commercialization stages. While I work very well independently, I wholeheartedly enjoy partnering with cross functional teams & understand the importance of contributing to an atmosphere that everyone feels welcomed & involved. My nature of being highly adaptable, upbeat, kind, diplomatic & communicative has enabled me to develop strong relationships with colleagues. For this valuable asset, I was awarded the Four Great Directions Award from JanSport. I have also contributed to VF corporation ERG groups & have been a leader in organizing volunteer efforts in collaboration with non-profit organizations. My background is in Fine Arts and through my passion for lifestyle, fashion, outdoor & performance products, I have maintained a long career in Industrial Design. My imagination is balanced with a desire to find practical solutions & driven by an astute interest in the world around me. Through my ambition for self-improvement, I strive for continuous development by remaining flexible & agile. Being a creative type I have learned to stay grounded, humble, eager for continuous learning, accepting critique & keep an open mind to further evolve my skill set.
