(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and recently completed my PhD (April 2023) in Mobile Robotics with a focus on Computer Vision and Deep Learning for underwater navigation and SLAM. I have a strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning algorithms, with expertise in important topics such as ML and NLP from online courses such as CS229 by Prof. Andrew Ng at Stanford University. My technical skills include proficiency in Python, C++, Mathlab, and specialized skill areas such as Image Classification, Object Detection & Localization, ANN, CNN, and RNN. I also have extensive experience in data manipulation, image processing, and deployment of Deep Learning Frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, TensorRT, and Pytorch. In addition to my technical expertise, I have more than 10 years of experience in Mechatronics-related system design, simulation, fabrication, and testing. I am highly proficient in 3D modeling software such as Solidworks and SketchUp. Over the years, I have gained significant industrial experience as a research and innovation engineer and design specialist.
