My professional experience basically boils down to one thing... Automation. If you find yourself doing the same thing 5 times, that's 4 times too many. Whether it's: * Excel Spreadsheet Manipulation * PDF Parsing * File Management * Email Status Updates * Data Analysis * Web Entry/Scraping I have spent enough time doing things the long way to know it's the wrong way. Automation is the name of the game, and the more we automate, the more we can focus on what's important. * I pride myself on clean, well-tested code, and having a small technological footprint * I expect my code to work, and work well I am also interested in developing video games, but will work for cheap until I gain experience!
