RN | CE Course Developer — NCBTMB & ANCC | Board-Approved Courses I write continuing education that passes board review. Eight courses built this year, ten submissions, approvals granted — written to three standards bodies: NCBTMB, AHA guidelines, and ANCC. Content now in use across a 650+ location national spa franchise system. RN, 40 years clinical: 15 in ICU critical care, 5 as a VA case manager coordinating care for more than 1,500 complex chronic disease patients, plus PACU, endoscopy, and OR recovery. I don't research clinical practice from a distance. I've delivered it. WHAT I BUILD Complete CE packages, not just manuscripts: course manual, slide deck, instructor lecture notes, final exam, answer key, test blueprint, course planning form, and submission-ready provider paperwork. NCBTMB-approved CE for licensed massage therapists, and nursing CE written to ANCC standards including Mergener contact-hour calculation. Recent builds include a 9-module BLS and 13-module ACLS certification course aligned to 2025 AHA guidelines, and more than ten CEU courses averaging 13,000 to 16,000 words. Recent work includes courses for PulseMedCert and for an NCBTMB-approved massage therapy CE provider. I've also developed course content for HealthStream. CLINICAL ACCURACY REVIEW I review existing courses, patient education, and health content for clinical accuracy, guideline alignment, and scope-of-practice boundaries — the errors that survive a copy edit and fail a board review. Contraindications, staging language, and what a licensed clinician is and isn't permitted to do are the parts that age badly. COMPLIANCE AND REGULATORY CMS conditions of participation, HIPAA privacy and security, OSHA standards, and patient experience frameworks including OAS CAHPS and HCAHPS. ASSESSMENT AND INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN Learning objectives, knowledge checks, megacode-style case scenarios, and multiple-choice items with rationales aligned to accreditation standards.
