How I work: Research first, then structure, then the writing. A script is only as good as what’s underneath it, and most of the ones that lose people lose them because the writer had nothing to say by minute four. I find the thing worth saying before I start writing it. Scripts come back ready to record. If something needs changing, I turn revisions around same day. A few other things: I do this full time, so turnaround is under 24 hours. I write in English and Spanish. I’d rather learn one channel properly and stay than take on ten and do none of them well.
