How I typically work with clients Phase 1, Cleanup: I review and correct categorization, reconcile every account month by month, fix the chart of accounts, and hand off financials that are ready for tax filing or professional review with no follow-up questions attached. Phase 2, Monthly Bookkeeping: Once your books are current, I keep them that way. Categorization, reconciliations, AR and AP upkeep, and month-end reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash position), delivered on a consistent schedule so you and your accountant are never scrambling.
