I am a Data Center Technician with Akamai Technologies in Dallas and a student enrolled in Western Governors University. My career at Akamai started as a hardware tech, swapping hard drives and plugging in cabling. Over the years I have learned about enterprise grade equipment, edge nodes, Cisco, and Juniper. I have proven my worth with Siebel, Linux, and other in house tools. My ability to troubleshoot most systems has improved exponentially. I have two courses left at WGU. I have collected a total of ten certifications with their guidance ranging from networking to change management and security. I have accelerated a five year degree to only three through hard work and diligence. I'm seeking to expand my knowledge base and explorer new technologies with the right company.
