Casey H.
Learning Systems & Curriculum Consultant | Instructional Design
I help organizations make sense of complex learning systems. When training materials, curriculum, or organizational knowledge have grown over time, the problem is not always a lack of content. Often, the valuable information is already there—but it is fragmented, repetitive, difficult to navigate, or no longer aligned with how people actually need to learn. That is where my work begins. I analyze what already exists, identify gaps and overlap, uncover the underlying learning structure, and design clear, learner-centered systems around it. With more than 15 years of experience in education and a master's degree in Education focused on Teacher Leadership, I bring a deep understanding of learning, instructional decision-making, curriculum development, and the human side of navigating complex information. My work typically moves through three areas: ANALYZE Training asset inventories Content and curriculum audits Gap analysis Requirements crosswalks Learning experience review Accessibility and learner-centered design review ARCHITECT Curriculum and course architecture Learning experience blueprints Content mapping and instructional sequencing Learning objectives and outcomes Training and onboarding pathways Program and framework development BUILD Learner and facilitator resources Training and induction materials Assessments and reflection tools Instructional documentation Design logs and development systems Accessible learning materials Recently, I partnered with an organization to evaluate and redesign an existing training and onboarding system. I began by inventorying and classifying the organization's learning assets, identifying instructional gaps, and crosswalking external requirements. From that analysis, I developed a learning experience blueprint and began redesigning the onboarding experience, induction materials, and supporting learning resources. I am also the creator of Constructive Creativity™, an instructional framework rooted in Art + Inquiry + Relationship. The framework grew from years of observing how learners naturally move through exploration, planning, making, reflection, and connection—and translating those patterns into a structured learning architecture. One of my greatest strengths is seeing the structure inside complexity. I work best with organizations that have valuable knowledge, existing programs, or training materials and need someone to step inside the system, understand how the pieces connect, and create a clearer path forward. If you are asking: What do we actually have? Where are the gaps? How should this learning experience be structured? How do we turn all of this knowledge into something people can actually use? Those are the problems I solve.
