I have been studying the English language for 25 years consecutively. I became fully proficient and certified when I was only 15 years old. After acquiring IELTS, TOEIC, ECCE, ECPE and state certificates, I decided to enter the university domain where I eventually graduated as a fully certified English Teacher with a bachelor's degree (honours) based on the English Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Needless to say, that was not the end. I also joined the University of Kent for my postgraduate studies, where I successfully graduated with a master's degree based on European Theatre. Moreover, working abroad for so many years allowed me to become native-like and acquire a more profound understanding of the English Language. My areas of expertise are proofreading, translation, technical and creative writing with a strong focus on art, software, business and financial terminology. I have also worked as a freelance subtitle translator in a reputable Belgian company which specialized in foreign series translations where the projects were related to Amazon Prime and many more. At the same time, I have had broad experience in academic proofreading of financial, IT and historic terminology and Greek-to-English translations and vice versa. I would also like to mention that I have received financial articles of higher academic nature and complexity which have been eventually published abroad successfully. I have strong written and verbal communication skills, and I am able to work to tight deadlines. I am a very task-oriented person and I am able to establish immediate connection with the content or dissertation I receive. My methods are mainly focused on clarifying meaning obfuscations and discrepancies.
