What I do with React and Next.js: • Build web apps from scratch or join an existing codebase, using the App Router, server-side rendering and API routes • Turn Figma or UI/UX designs into responsive interfaces with Tailwind CSS or Material UI • Manage state and forms with Redux, Zustand and React Hook Form • Build dashboards with charts (Apache ECharts), large data tables and CSV/Excel export • Build interactive maps with Mapbox, Leaflet, Cesium and Turf.js • Keep heavy pages fast, for example by moving expensive calculations into Web Workers • Add AI features with the OpenAI and Gemini APIs, such as chat assistants and generated reports • Set up authentication, role-based access, multi-language support, error tracking (Sentry) and CI/CD On the backend: • REST APIs and data models with Django and Python • Serverless jobs on AWS: Lambda, Step Functions and scheduled tasks with EventBridge • Web scraping, data pipelines, and real-time updates with Firebase or Server-Sent Events Recent work: For the past two years I've been the main developer of a renewable-energy planning platform for building projects in South Korea. I built it from scratch with Next.js and TypeScript, including 2D/3D maps, a multi-step planning flow, simulation charts and an AI consultant chat, plus the Django APIs and AWS jobs that scrape and process public planning data. Earlier, I built React dashboards with charts, maps and data tables for a tech company in Jakarta, and before that worked on React Native and Android apps.
