I spend a good part of my time taking existing drafts and getting them over the finish line. Sometimes the draft comes from a writer. Sometimes it starts with AI. Either way, my job is to figure out what still needs work before it goes live. That can mean catching a factual claim that does not hold up, fixing repetition or awkward language, checking names, links, locations and terminology, tightening weak sourcing, or noticing that a draft technically followed the brief but still missed the point. I also check whether the piece is genuinely ready to publish. From search intent and structure to brand voice, metadata, formatting, and overall usefulness to the reader. I work regularly with AI-assisted content, but I’m not interested in simply replacing a few words to make something “sound human.” The more important work is catching where AI has lost context, introduced unsupported information, become vague or repetitive, or produced something that sounds convincing without actually saying much. I’m particularly comfortable with research-heavy and fact-sensitive subjects across healthcare, technology, manufacturing, finance, travel, and other B2B and consumer industries. Some of the content I’ve worked on has ranked on the first page of Google, appeared in AI-generated search results, attracted thousands of views, and contributed to email campaigns that increased sales by 50%+ across different brands.
