AI Agent Developer | Tech Strategy | Business Needs to Actions
✅ I am part of the Upwork Expert-Vetted program: the top 1% of freelancers on the platform ✅ I transform your business problems into comprehensive, well structured projects ✅ I build real-world AI products ✅ I lead fast growing international teams In a nutshell: I am a scientist! I have been working as an AI developer and Data Scientist since 2020; Since 2023 I work as a freelancer; I was accepted in the Upwork's Expert-Vetted program in January 2024; I built juztina.ai from the ground up; I have a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics; I have rewarded research experience about General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics in France, Canada and the USA; I was in charge of a science outreach column for a national Italian newspaper for a year, and looking forward to write more. My experience gives me a broad range of competences and makes me a polyhedral self fast learner who enjoys tackling the most complex problems. I am currently Fractional CTO at juztina.ai, the #1 AI assistant for attorneys and lawyers in LATAM, shaping the future of legal professions. And Fractional Tech Lead at rivelio.it, leading the effort in restructuring the whole IT, scraping and AI infrastructure to scale. I also hold the position of Center Executive at the Center for SpaceTime and the Quantum, a non-profit physics research center, managing multi-millions grants such as the Enrico Fermi Fellowships and WithOut SpaceTime projects. The above projects represent my main current activity, but I am always open to new exciting freelancing opportunities. Before switching to freelancing I worked as Head of Data Department for AAK-TeleScience, a Californian Start-Up. I managed a fully remote team of 10+ data scientist and engineers, located in several countries from the US West Coast to India. I collaborated as a scientific advisor for Alter Learning, a VR educational games Start-Up, by helping in providing scientific base to some of their games, as well as thinking physics and math related games. I worked as a Specialist Data Scientist at SDG Group, mainly working as Data Science expert for KeyCrime. Mathematical modelling for crime prediction being my major contributions, but I also worked on improving the PHP-based back-end, the SQL database, as well as building a complete on-premise opensource mapping and geocoding system based on OpenStreetMap's data. Last but not least, I built end-to-end AI-powered chatbots using Rasa framework. My first experience in Data Science was at synbrAIn, developing machine and deep learning algorithms, mainly on NLP (Natural Language Processing), but also Computer Vision. I contributed to several project commissioned by important Italian utilities companies. We optimised and automated several repetitive and low-added-value tasks, such as email comprehension, classification and cleaning, data extraction from email and attachments. Last but not least a nice project on data extraction from documents such as CVs, extracting more than 20 different entities reaching 80% f1-score with only 100 CV train dataset. In 2020 I transitioned from academia to industry after two years as post-doctoral scholar at the Pennsylvania State University, specifically at the Institute for Gravitation and the Cosmos led by 2020 Einstein prize recipient prof. Abhay Ashtekar. In 2018 I’ve received my PhD in Theoretical Physics from Aix-Marseille Université (in Carlo Rovelli's group), after a Bachelor and Master Degree in Physics at Università di Pisa. In 2020 I was in charge, together with my wife, of "Spazio Curvo", an outreach scientific column for ilGiornale.it, an Italian national newspaper. My research focused on Gravitation, both at the purely classical and at the semi-classical level, with an eye always open on Quantum Gravity-related questions. The main object of study is Black Hole physics, and more recently Gravitational Waves and Cosmology. As of Aug 2026, I have 13 publications in scientific journals, 3 thesis (Bachelor, Master and PhD), for a total of about 780+ citations. I have presented my works as contributed and invited talks at several international conferences, as well as universities and institutes around the world. I have been awarded the "2020 Giulio Rampa Thesis Prize for Outstanding Research in General Relativity", the "2018 best thesis prize" from my doctoral school, and my dossier has been proposed for the 2018 best thesis prize of Aix-Marseille Université. My postdoctoral position was approved with the "IGC special honor".
