Alberto C.

Seasoned full-stack web developer with a strong focus on the WordPress and WooCommerce ecosystem. My expertise lies in refactoring legacy code, customizing themes, developing plugins, and, more generally, solving all sorts of programming nonsense. As a freelancer, I primarily work for large companies and web agencies on complex projects, though I occasionally take on smaller assignments. When working as a contractor for agencies, confidentiality agreements prevent me from sharing those projects—so let's just say I’m the invisible force behind some incredible websites! My core skill set revolves around PHP, JavaScript, SQL, and front-end tooling, but I’m also well-versed in UI/UX best practices, SEO and SEM optimization, traffic analysis, server-side performance, load-time optimization, and debugging. Additionally, due to frequent requests from smaller clients, I have become somehow familiar with website builders like Elementor and Divi. Fluent in both Italian and English, I was born in Italy but grew up in the USA. Beyond coding, I’m passionate about nature and specialize in night landscape photography.
