Portfolio: ethansoo.xyz I build VR, AR and game projects in Unity and Unreal, including multiplayer and performance work. I co-founded techToy Studio and led development of Symphoni, a VR rhythm game that launched on the Meta Quest Store in March 2025 with a three-person team and carried the store's top-rated badge. I got it holding 72+ fps on all five headsets it shipped on and cut its load time from over 30 seconds to under a second. In 7+ years I've been a core contributor on 50+ AR/VR client projects, including healthcare training simulations, and built a VR driving simulation for Mercedes-Benz and Kia at USC's Immersive Media Lab. In C++ I've profiled and optimized Unreal and C++ projects, including a VR driving simulation on CARLA that I was sole core developer of. Also available for: React and Next.js web apps in TypeScript. I was sole engineer on DropClip, a Next.js app that turns camera footage into a music video cut to the song's lyrics and beats. I work with multi-agent Claude Code workflows every day, from a written spec through per-task review.
