David E.

Senior Android developer who takes your existing Figma designs or backend to a production Android app. You already have something real, and mobile is the missing piece. Recently, I took a stalled iOS-to-Android conversion to a production-ready, offline-first encrypted app in three months, with zero crashes. I work best with founders, CTOs and product leads who know what they want built and need one person to own the mobile side end to end. 5 years shipping Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Multiplatform. What that looks like ⦿ iOS to Android parity: I take your existing iOS app and deliver a native Android version that matches the product, not just the screens. ⦿ Figma to production: Compose UI built to your designs, on a proper design system. ⦿ Backend integration: REST/GraphQL, auth (Auth0, Firebase), offline-first sync, push notifications and payments. ⦿ Launch-ready: CI/CD, Play Console, staged rollouts and crash monitoring, so release isn't a scramble. Proof ⦿ ArmourVault (Australia): took an existing SwiftUI iOS app to Android after the previous developer left. The iOS encryption was crashing, so I built chunked streaming XChaCha20-Poly1305 encryption. It's built around offline-first, secure file handling and biometrics. ⦿ Fintech: G Core (real-time crypto trading platform) and PayBuddy (fintech MVP with Flutterwave payments). ⦿ GirlFit: a Kotlin Multiplatform app built on Android and iOS from a shared codebase. How I work: fixed-scope milestones, a working build every 1–2 weeks, written & recorded progress updates, and daily overlap with UK/EU and US East Coast hours. After launch I stay on for maintenance and iteration. To scope your project, send me: what exists today (iOS app, backend, Figma), the must-have features, and your target launch date. I'll reply with a plan, scope and next steps.
