The stakes are high, and you want your final written product to be perfect—or at least error-free, sounding like your best self, and ready to impress and get the job done. I’m here to help make that happen. A former private academy teacher with a BA and MA in English, I have 25+ years of experience proofreading, editing, and writing. I have seen and fixed just about every mistake you could imagine. I have guided writers through the finer points of grammar and punctuation, stylistic elements, content development, structural and conceptual organization, and more. From academic essays to personal writing to college essays to speeches, I have helped thousands of students find their voice, figure out the best ways to say something, and align their writing with their desired goal. If I could do that for them, I can do it for you, whether you’re in business or in school, whether the writing in question is an essay, a document, a report, an article, website text, or a corporate media post. I understand the importance of editing and writing within the context of an individual’s style and identity, or within an organization’s brand, as was the case when I became the lead writer and editor for a variety of English department and cross-academy administrative, curriculum, and accreditation initiatives. I’m accustomed to juggling multiple documents with quick turnaround times and tight deadlines. I can work independently with minimal guidance and discussion, but I’m also happy working more collaboratively with lots of give-and-take and consultation. I welcome the opportunity to discuss whatever writing projects you have on tap.
