Astro & Sanity Developer | high-performance, content-driven websites
I build websites on a modern stack (Astro + Sanity) — fast, easy to manage, and structured so both people and AI crawlers can find them in search and understand what they're about. I build from scratch and migrate existing sites from Webflow, WordPress, and Framer. More details My stack is Astro + Sanity + Tailwind, deployed on Cloudflare Pages. I work in two directions: building sites from scratch, and migrating existing ones onto this stack. Most of my work is content-driven sites — where the content itself is the core of the project and needs to be easy to manage and grow. All text, meta tags, and Open Graph live in Sanity, so the owner can edit everything without touching code. I migrate from Webflow, WordPress, and Framer when a project starts hitting the limits of those platforms — performance, accessibility, or how far you can push the content structure. The design stays the same; the site just gets faster, cheaper to run, and easier to extend. Performance is my main focus — that's why I chose Astro. The sites I build score 90+ on mobile in Lighthouse, often reaching 100. I use static generation by default and add server-side rendering only where it's actually needed, like filtered catalog pages, so the client isn't overloaded. On SEO, I set up the basics from the start: semantic HTML, clean heading hierarchy, valid structured data (Schema markup), sitemap, canonical URLs. Search is shifting, though — AI crawlers and assistants prefer fast, well-structured sites, and semantics and accessibility now matter not just for people but because they make content easier for machines to read. So alongside classic technical SEO, I work on AEO/GEO and structure the content and data so both Google and AI understand the context without guessing. On scope: I'm not a designer, SEO strategist, or copywriter — I don't do keyword research or write content. But I work closely with designers, and I'll build the content model, set up relationships between collections, and structure the site so the right pages are reachable in a couple of clicks. When a project genuinely needs a no-code builder or Shopify for a store, I'm comfortable with those too. I pick the tool based on what the project actually needs.
