Vadim I.
Senior PM + Senior AI Engineer + AEO & Content + Agents + Backend
Most freelance product managers I've competed against are process specialists. They run sprints, manage stakeholders, write specs that get handed to engineers. That's a third of the job. The other two thirds is owning the technical decisions and shipping the system, and that's the part most freelancers can't do. One accountable surface for the strategy AND the production code. What that's looked like recently: Twelve-month engagement owning AI search visibility and the content behind it for a US B2B SaaS - blog, sales and product collateral, the positioning. End state: the product is named by default in the major LLMs for category queries; organic traffic value overtook the established competitors. Consult for a healthcare organization. Owned a compliance pre-check tool for marketing AI against CMS and FTC rules, from spec through evaluation framework through hand-off. Built a public-data intelligence platform solo. Product, design, engineering, deployment, all me. Retail Ops intelligence - 5 mechanics across different Shopify stacks. The point isn't the domain. The point is that I close the gap between "we have a strategy" and "the system is in production" - usually in less time and at lower spend than a four-person team. Function-ownership shapes I run: fractional or embedded product management, AI product builds, AI search and LLM-grounding programs, technical SEO at catalogue scale, and content and demand engines - the blog, newsletter, social and CRM that feed AI search, not just decks about it. Growth strategy with execution attached. Two modes in one person. Operator mode runs the roadmap, sets metrics, prioritizes, communicates with execs. Builder mode writes the code, designs the schema, deploys the system. No coordination tax between "the PM said X" and "the engineer did Y" because the same person is both. That's how small teams ship like big ones. Stack on the build side: whatever your team is on, I'm fluent inside a week. The analytical instinct takes years; the tool is a weekend. What I'm looking for: long-term embedded engagements where I own a function and report to a small number of stakeholders, OR clearly-scoped builds where the deliverable maps to a real business outcome. I'll bid on either. Rate scales with engagement shape - fractional and strategic at the top of the range, build-tier in the middle, audit and diagnostic at the bottom.
