I'm Mónica, co-founder and architect lead at SPAZIO, a boutique architecture and interior design studio based in Ecuador, working with mid-size and large studios across Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, and the United States. I hold a Master's in Sustainable Architecture from Politecnico di Torino, and my studio partner Francisco holds a Master's in Interior Design, both earned in Italy. Studios partner with us to outsource design development, interior design, 3D visualization, and construction documentation, or hand off entire projects from day one. We work fluently in ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and AutoCAD, and we're built to plug into your existing workflow without disrupting your team's process. I also design for a growing niche within short-term rentals: Airbnb hosts who want their properties to stand out with distinct, photorealistic design concepts. It's a smaller part of what I do, but it reflects the same design rigor I bring to every project.
