Platform and DevOps engineer, I build Golang and Node.js backends that stay correct while integrating with systems you don't control. I add AI features and run it all on Kubernetes, AWS or GCP. WHAT I BUILD - Third-party API integrations that survive production: webhooks plus polling reconciliation, retries, idempotency, and several vendors' status models mapped into one lifecycle - AI inside real backends: RAG pipelines (LangGraph, Qdrant), agents with memory (mem0, vector search), containerized agent runtimes (OpenClaw, Hermes), wired into your existing data and APIs - Go and Node.js/NestJS microservices: gRPC inside, REST and GraphQL outside, contract changes shipped without breaking live consumers - Event-driven systems: Kafka, AWS SQS, outbox pattern and CQRS read models, so one vendor outage doesn't take your platform down with it AWS / GCP / KUBERNETES - Kubernetes on EKS and GKE with Helm; Terraform on AWS and GCP - CI/CD with GitHub Actions and daily deploys; zero-downtime schema migrations on live data - OpenTelemetry, Grafana and Sentry for tracing and errors; on-call and post-mortems - PostgreSQL, Cloud Spanner, Redis, MongoDB, OpenSearch RECENT WORK - Healthcare logistics (US, HIPAA-compliant): Go microservices on gRPC, Cloud Spanner and GKE. Owned trip lifecycle and rider eligibility across 40 US states, and integrated Uber, Lyft, OneCall and RouteGenie into one trip lifecycle - Global trade and fulfilment: Go and NestJS services for orders and shipments, running on EKS. Built the Maersk and Seaboard Marine integrations that keep shipment status near real time for 1,000+ customers, and moved carrier calls onto Kafka/SQS so outages stopped breaking tracking - Crypto platform: led a backend team of 8 on a platform that processed $2M+ in revenue, and ran its AWS setup (EKS, RDS, Terraform) - AI infrastructure: runtime images and memory for AI agents (OpenClaw, Hermes) AI-ASSISTED DEVELOPMENT, WITH A REVIEW LAYER I ship fast with AI coding agents, but I don't merge on green. The agent that writes the code never reviews it, and for anything touching permissions or data isolation I break the code on purpose to prove the tests catch it.
