I started in enterprise IT and spent 18+ years there, most of it as a solutions architect on the healthcare systems hospital networks trust with patient records (Epic, MEDITECH). That is where the architecture, governance, and reliability instincts come from. Then construction, and I ran the whole lifecycle. Pre-construction and estimating, through build and field operations, through closeout, punch, and as-builts. I have opened the shop drawing, tracked a deposit through a payment release, and sat with a homeowner who could not pick a finish. Woodworking has been the constant through all of it, 30+ years, long before it was a business. That is where I have chosen to focus now: pre-construction design and millwork. Renderings, 3D scanning, as-builts, shop plans, constructibility reviews, and cabinetry from our NH Seacoast shop. Construction consulting is those three things together. Most AI consultants have the software half and have never seen a submittal log. Most construction people cannot build the system. I have done both, and I have run the jobs the software is supposed to serve. For the past year I have been building AI platforms for companies, including the one below. Meeting transcripts in, structured and routed action items out, classified into RFIs, submittals, change orders, and schedule risks. One recent subcontractor meeting ran hands-free: agenda pre-staged in Procore, 67 open items carried forward, 25 new action items assigned without anyone retyping a thing. Procore issues a health digest on it every two weeks. Loop prevention, idempotency on replayed webhooks, and a full audit log, because the unglamorous parts are what keep an integration alive past month three. THREE THINGS I SELL: 1. FRONT-OFFICE AUTOMATION FOR CONTRACTORS & TRADES Lead intake, qualification, scheduling, dispatch, follow-up sequences, and accounting integration. For GCs, subs, and trade businesses (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, framers, finishers) who are bleeding hours on admin. I built these systems for my own shop first. HOW I WORK: - Discovery first.
