Danford M.

I build production-ready Flutter apps — and the Django/Firebase backends behind them. Hi, I'm Danford. I've spent the last 3+ years helping startups and growing businesses ship cross-platform apps to the App Store and Play Store: real-time tracking, mobile-money payments, and offline-first data that holds up on weak connections and low-end devices. I handle the full cycle — architecture, development, deployment, and post-launch support. Recent work: 🚗 Ride-hailing app — live driver/rider tracking over WebSockets, trip state management, map routing; shipped on Android and iOS 💳 Cashless wristband payments — QR-code transactions with secure hardware integration 🌾 Django SMS chatbot for farmers — crop advice and market prices delivered over Africa's Talking ♻️ Wina — waste collection & recycling app with scheduling and pickup flows 🎁 Donation campaign app — onboarding, campaign management, offline SQLite storage 🛍️ E-commerce and product apps — Firebase, Django, and REST API backends What you get working with me: - Clean, documented architecture the next developer can pick up without friction - Honest scope and timeline estimates, with steady updates so you always know where things stand - Apps tested on real Android and iOS devices, not just the simulator Tech I work with: Mobile: Flutter, Dart, Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Push Notifications), SQLite, Google Maps, Geolocation, background tasks, hardware integration Backend: Django, Django REST Framework, REST API design, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Supabase Integrations: Mobile Money (Selcom), SMS gateways (Africa's Talking), WebSockets, QR/payment hardware Workflow: Git, CI/CD, Docker, Postman Send me a short description of your app idea and I'll reply with an honest take on scope, timeline, and the fastest path to a working MVP.
