Most AI apps look great in a demo but become much harder to build when real users and real data are involved. I've worked through those problems firsthand: third-party APIs failing, messy documents, unexpected edge cases, App Store requirements, AI costs, and all the small things that can break an otherwise good product. I've shipped AI-powered products, including a live AI skin editor app, and I'm currently focused on document intelligence: apps where users upload contracts, forms, listings, or other documents and the system extracts useful structured data using LLMs. Real documents aren't clean. They come in different formats, scanned pages, missing information, and inconsistent layouts. Getting extraction to work on a sample document is easy compared to making it reliable across the documents your users actually upload. That's the kind of production problem I like solving. If I think something won't work well or there's a simpler approach, I'll tell you before we spend time and money on it. Once development starts, I prefer frequent working builds rather than disappearing for weeks. You'll be able to test the app on your phone regularly through TestFlight or APK builds and see exactly how things are progressing. I care about the parts that are easy to overlook: reliable API integrations, reasonable AI costs, error handling, real-device testing, and getting the product ready for the App Store and Play Store — not just making a demo that works once.
