As a general guideline, developmental editing starts at approximately $1,240 for a 60,000-word manuscript. Comparatively, manuscript evaluation costs about half. Other services and manuscript lengths are priced accordingly. Because every manuscript is different, the final quote is established after I’ve reviewed your manuscript and assessed the scope of work. This allows me to give you a firm, fair quote based on what your project actually needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all rate.
