Daren T.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to visit my profile! I am a full-time professional voice actor and audiobook producer. I am a classically trained Vocalist as well, so this gives me the ability to stretch my vocal range around for many different tones, voices, accents, etc. I do some freelance audio session work as a singer/songwriter as well. I've acted in and directed multiple on-stage live performances working everything from front of house sound, to lighting, to camera operation, to directing said performances. I've opened and worked with multiple headlining acts to include Micheal Peterson, Kid Rock, Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Sammy Hagar, Train, Chris Isaak, and many others. I've performed with recording artists and fellow singers around the world. I record with a full soundproofed professional recording studio at home, utilizing the Protools Artist recording software and a Shure SM7B vocal microphone. I am very good at picking out the subtleties that make a voice sound the way that it does due to my experience in singing and vocal coaching. I understand where my voice needs to be positioned for different tones, accents and voices. Impersonations are never any trouble either. I have a vocal range that goes from low Baritone, all the way up through the female alto range and even into some soprano notes. This gives me the full ability to voice any character from a young child or babbling baby, to female characters (convincingly,) to the old grumpy man with a gruff old sounding voice sitting on his front porch and cursing the world. Whether you need a voice actor to bring your book to life and really tell the story in an audiobook production, or you need voices for several different characters in your cartoon, or you need a narrator for your YouTube channel idea, on camera or faceless, you're on the right profile! Thanks for stopping by! And I'll hope to hear from you soon!! -Daren Taylor
