I have worked in accounting for 35 years. I have a lot of experience in homebuilding and commercial construction, as well as residential and commercial property management. Additionally, I've done non-profit accounting (Habitat for Humanity) and restaurant accounting (two pizza restaurants). I'm very good at cleaning up balance sheets and reconciling balance sheet accounts. I have done the accounting for many companies with multiple entities, interco reconciliations and consolidated financial statements. I am also very good at process revision. I've used this ability to shorten the month end close timeline for several companies as well as to improve their cashflow reporting, job cost reporting and financial reporting, I also have quite a bit of experience with payroll and HR. I've handled various software conversions over the years. I can use Quickbooks, Sage 100/300, JD Edwards, Procontractor, Compeat and Paychex Flex software. I am a fixer- I can fix any issues you have!
