Python backend developer. Most of my work is scrapers, data pipelines and API integrations. My latest project is a crawler for a water treatment chemicals supplier. It pulls public tenders from 6 portals, removes duplicates, scores them by keywords and shows everything in a dashboard, built to run non-stop on a server. Before freelancing I worked almost a year as a backend developer at Proova, a multi-tenant CRM/ERP for UK fire safety companies: FastAPI, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, background workers on RabbitMQ, moving file storage from Google Cloud to S3. My usual stack is Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ and Docker. For scraping I use Playwright, Selenium, or plain HTTP requests when the site has an API behind it. I prefer to work in writing, with short updates as I go, so you always know where things are.
