LinkedIn Ghostwriter | Thought leadership content for B2B founders

If you’re here, that means you already know the importance of building a strong presence on LinkedIn to drive business growth. And by business growth, I don’t mean a “green graph” showing thousands of impressions while the pipeline is dry as a bone. Business growth means high-intent leads, paying clients, partners, and investors. I’m not saying that virality and leads can’t coexist, but that’s rare. Most ghostwriters and LinkedIn content agencies portray a completely wrong image of LinkedIn success. They try to make you believe that: 1000s of impressions = Success on LinkedIn They do this for two reasons. Reason 1: Creating broad content is easier than creating niche content because they don’t have to spend hours doing deep market research, going through competitors' blogs to find gaps in their content. Reason 2: It’s beneficial for their own business because they can show that “green graph” to other founders who also believe virality automatically means business growth and close them as clients. I recently read a story of a founder who hired a content marketing agency to grow his personal brand on X (formerly Twitter), and they got him 62.7 million impressions but not a single lead. Shocking, right? And that’s just one example. There are countless stories like this that never get shared online. Founders fall into the trap of virality due to dopamine hits and ego boost that come with the flood of notifications every time a post goes viral. It feels good in the short term, but as time passes, the excitement fades, and the founders start to question everything. Founder: “It’s been over 3 months since we started. The impressions are great, but there are no leads.” Ghostwriter/Agency: “The graph is green and high, followers are coming in, which means we’re on the right track. Give it some more time.” That’s the only answer they always have. How to spot these red flags: If a ghostwriter or agency says, “You don’t have to do anything, we’ll take care of everything.” Run for the hills. Because what they will do is use AI or Google to find viral and surface-level topics that everyone can relate to. For example: - “10 tips to get your first 1000 followers on LinkedIn.” - “Top 7 websites for passive income in 2025.” - “Top 5 niches for affiliate marketing.” This isn’t content marketing. This is “unfiltered attention farming.” While the top 5% ghostwriters and agencies follow a proven process that involves: 1. Interviewing the founder on a weekly or monthly basis to ask strategic questions that make them naturally share their valuable experiences. Then they use those insights and their own market research data to create context-rich content that no AI tool can replicate. 2. They keep a pulse on their clients’ top 3-5 competitors to know what’s working for them and what’s not. They identify the gaps in their content to know where they can stand out. 3. They make sure the founder is involved in the whole process to avoid anything that doesn’t fit in the founder’s vision or long-term goals. This is the exact process I use to help B2B founders become category leaders on LinkedIn and get qualified leads, partners, investors, and podcast invites. I’m a certified copywriter & ghostwriter by Copy School, and I’ve also been top-rated here on Upwork since early 2024.
