I have been an educator in nursing and have written many lectures and exams for students. I have been a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Certification Management Services and enjoy writing all types of questions at various levels. My goal is to get the student out of their comfort field just a little to help them learn. I spent 14 years in the classroom and 16 years in the clinical arena with students as they learned to be safe nurses. Prior to that, I spent my career in the hospital, training employees for all levels of the workforce. My 15 years of bedside nursing skills in the medical, critical care and emergency departments was the foundation my career was built upon. I am currently retired but continue to do bedside clinicals and tutoring nursing students. In my spare time, I love to quilt and I am working on getting my APQS Quilting Certification in the next month. I also do machine embroidery on a commercial machine.
