Angela R.

Hello, I'm Angela, a biologist and artist from Colombia. If you choose me for your project, I can be guaranteed to work with a smile on my face and be committed to the job. I like to learn new things, especially about nature around the world. I am a biologist with a Masters degree with experience in native and exotic plant identification. I have worked in rural conservated and urban areas, ornamental plant inventories. I have worked in plant nomenclature projects with important volumes of plant records and their attributes and I have special interest in the creation of urban gardens that are ecologically functional for pollinators and of ethnobiological value. I have worked on plant identification from photographs and herbarium specimens in projects of different approaches at Kew Gardens (Plants of Colombia), Jardin Botanico de Bogota (Introduced plants and common names) Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Common names of Colombian plants) I naturalist (Urban naturalist challenges), I also have extensive research experience in native bee pollination and I am currently directing a degree project 'Recommended Plants for Bee Friendly Gardens in Bogota'. Thanks for reading!
