ABOUT ME I am a multi-passionate marine biologist. What does this mean? I have pursued a rigorous academic career in Applied Ocean Science and Marine Biology and have coupled my background with my creative passions. My wide range of skills (including data analysis, creative writing, scientific writing, graphic design, content creation, lesson plan design, tutoring, and social media management, to name a few), equip me to take on a diverse range of projects, particularly in the Science Communications and Education arena. Although Ocean Conservation is nearest to my heart, I love variety and creative challenges! Some of the projects that I specialize in and typically take on include: ~Creating scientific and conservation-related social media content that is fused with captivating creativity yet scientifically appropriate. -Designing informative newsletters and writing more 'scientific' copy for websites needing marine-related or researcher expertise. ~Tutoring biology, science, and other related topics to those of all ages (the youngest client being 12 and the oldest being 25). ~Creating online lesson plans and virtual classroom resources (for instance, I am currently employed to create forestry and natural resource management lesson plans).
