Kofi B.

My name is K.B Asare and i have nearly 10 years experience in the IT industry. In the past 8 years I narrowed that experience and expertise to cover many aspects of enterprise networking. I have in the past 6 years have primarily worked in the administration and management of Linux, Redhat/ Centos 7 servers, as well as Windows systems administration. I have industry certifications in Network+ and Security +. This solid foundation has allowed me to be able to manage, troubleshoot, configure and secure many aspects of a company's physical and virtual networks. Furthermore, I have administered Linux/Windows servers physically and virtually either in the cloud, as in the case of AWS/Azure or virtually using VMWARE. I have build servers from scratch in a physical or virtual environment and in some cases using a PXE server. At the browser or using Putty, I can also do basic management, troubleshooting and configuration of different brands of routers and switches including some Cisco. In summary, in an environment where a company has either 50 or 1500 Linux/Windows servers both physically or virtually, i can administer those systems as well as setup manage and troubleshoot network components like routers and switches to maximize productivity and minimize downtime for the company/team. Having worked closely with the DevOps team in my current environment, I have utilized automation tools like Ansible and puppet. I helped the team build docker containers and loaded images, as well as Kubernetes nodes. Aside from my technical know-how, i work well in a team setting, require very little supervision and take initiatives where needed. I am a fast learner with a tireless work ethic. If there is an issue or subject matter i am not familiar with, you can rest assured that i will endeavor to acquire the knowledge i need to make a positive impact for the company or team to assist in their Linux administration and networking needs. Thank you.
