Abu Bakar I.

I build and maintain PHP systems — Laravel applications, custom add-ons for platform software like XenForo and WordPress, and the servers they run on. Most of my work falls into three areas: Custom add-on and plugin development. I've built commercial XenForo add-ons, including an escrow trade system with its own admin panel, permission layer and notification routing, and a content-permission add-on that hooks into XenForo's search and profile render pipeline. Platform work means building inside someone else's architecture: hooks and listeners instead of core edits, upgrade-safe code, clean packaging. That's the part most developers get wrong, and it's where I'm strongest. Laravel application development. Authentication and role-based access control, RESTful APIs and third-party integrations, database design and migrations, queue and cron workers, and modular code that the next developer can actually read. Running production systems. I own and operate a live community forum on my own infrastructure, so server administration, MySQL tuning, caching, backups and security hardening are things I do routinely — not just code I hand off and hope for the best. I'm Top Rated on Upwork. What you can expect from me: I ask questions before I start, I tell you when a requirement will cause problems six months from now, and I hand over documented code in version control. If you're extending an existing application or building an add-on for a platform, send me the details and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit for it.
