I have over a decade's experience optimising and analysing digital marketing data, most recently as a Digital Web Analyst in financial services (last 4 years), focusing on data collection (GA4 & Matomo management & training), measurement & automation of reporting, research, opportunity discovery and schema building. I'm fluent in end-to-end analytics; from setting up data layers, to building tags in GTM controlled by cookie consent opt-in, through to building dashboards, and interrogating data to find anomalies, opportunities and actionable insights. I can build client-ready reports in GA4 / Matomo / Looker / Power BI / Tableau tailored to varying levels; scorecard level dashboards for senior leaders, to technical action oriented reports for development teams. More recently I've been exploring the application of data science into SEO. By leveraging AI models, I can build entity/intent groupings from 100k+ keyword set to create instant insights and opportunities. These can be sized and prioritised to drive an SEO action plan. The same model can then be applied to content to identify content gaps compared to inbound demand. Then apply the models to your competitors and you can identify content gaps you hadn't even considered. This automates and streamlines entire SEO planning & strategy swim lanes. Have also established how to use data science to remove the noise from SEO activity, making SEO measurable and removing much of the ambiguity. This can be used to validate work done, or identify SEO actions that may have had a negative impact on performance. I'm comfortable using python scripts to access APIs to import custom data sets, and model data performance (intent classification & trend prediction to detect anomalies).
