Brand Identity Designer | Branding | Logo Design | Brand Guidelines
Brand identity design for founders and teams who need the brand to still hold together after the handoff. Most branding projects end with a logo file and a mood board. Three months later nobody can tell whether a new banner is on brand or not. I work the other way round: positioning first, visual identity second, and everything documented so your team can produce the next asset without asking a designer. BRAND IDENTITY AND LOGO DESIGN A logo built to survive real use, with a primary mark plus horizontal, stacked, icon and single color variations, tested at favicon size and in one color print. Around it a color palette with matched print and screen values, a typography system, and graphic elements that make the brand recognizable even without the logo in frame. A branding identity project usually runs three to five weeks from the first call to source files. BRAND GUIDELINES AND BRAND BOOK The document your marketing team, your freelancers and your print partners actually work from. Logo variations and clear space, minimum sizes, color codes, type hierarchy, imagery direction, and a do and don't section built from the misuses that happen in your own materials. Whether you call it a brand book, a brand guide, a brand style guide or branding guidelines, it ships as a print ready PDF with editable source files. BRAND STRATEGY AND BRAND POSITIONING Competitor mapping, the claim your brand can defend, the messaging that carries it, and tone of voice with examples of what to say and what to avoid. Branding strategy is the part most founders skip, and it is the reason the second campaign contradicts the first. REBRANDING Brand audit, competitor analysis and new positioning first, then the new identity and a rollout plan for website and social channels. Most rebranding fails because the visuals change and the strategy does not, so the order of work here is deliberate. CORPORATE IDENTITY AND CORPORATE BRANDING For B2B companies whose brand lives in decks, proposals, one pagers and datasheets as much as in marketing. A restrained system plus the templates that keep it consistent across a distributed team. I also take on the graphic design that follows the identity, from social templates and presentation layouts to web design support. Clients sometimes call this branding design and it is what keeps a brand consistent between the big projects. Brand design work is done in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Figma, and every project ships with source files. Recent work includes brand identity for a B2B email marketing agency, a streaming platform, a luxury pet brand, a SaaS rebrand, a coffee brand and a Web3 startup. Not sure yet what you need?
