I don't have a great, big portfolio full of jobs done for great, big companies. I don't have 10,000 hours of work racked up on Upwork. I don't have 700 reviews. But… somehow I could be just what you need. And I'll tell you why in a minute. You see, they say “diamonds are found in the rough.” Not trying to toot my own horn or say I'm a diamond, lol. But I do have many things going for me that some business owners miss in their search for the high and mighty. First, I'm a curious, ridiculously hardworking, slightly obsessive learner who genuinely enjoys figuring out what makes people buy stuff online. I've studied and been mentored by copywriters like Tyson 4D, Derek Johanson, Colin Theriot, and other sharp people in the industry. I've written hundreds of practice pieces for companies. I've done a few projects for online coaches. Formally, I've worked with Henne Organics as the lead copywriter, helping write and optimize lifecycle email campaigns for a luxury skincare DTC brand. I'm unfortunately not allowed to share results data. But the emails did goooood. In my short, contracted stay, I was quite passionate and self-driven… handled A/B testing, suggested putting automated flows together and drafting them up, suggested segmentation… basically tried to squeeze every bit of performance out of the emails.
