Ignacio G.
Advanced Geography Undergraduate Student
As a Geography graduate from the National University of Cuyo, I bring a unique blend of analytical thinking and a deep understanding of our physical and human landscapes. I'm excited to embark on a new journey in the world of IT, specifically focusing on HTML, CSS and JavaScript. My transition reflects my passion for problem-solving and attention to detail, skills I've developed throughout my academic and professional career. I currently work at DataPeople, specializing in web scraping for the collection and maintenance of job posting information published on companies’ official websites. My main tasks involve extracting key vacancy data (such as title, location, description, posting date, salary, among others) by using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to configure and adjust selectors and scripts within our system. I am also responsible for the maintenance and optimization of projects, adapting extraction processes when changes occur in the code, design, or in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), ensuring that information is captured accurately and kept up to date.
