I help companies develop, debug, integrate, and test embedded and connected products—from early architecture and hardware selection through firmware, communication protocols, test automation, manufacturing, and delivery. I bring 15+ years of engineering experience across embedded systems, IoT, automotive connectivity, telematics, GNSS, and avionics, including work with Airbus, Lear, Tractive, Safran Cabin, and international embedded/IoT customers. My core areas include: • Embedded C/C++ development on MCU-based systems • Zephyr RTOS and Nordic/nRF52 platforms • Cellular IoT, LTE, GNSS, Bluetooth and connected devices • CAN, DoIP, ISO-TP and automotive diagnostics • Python tools for ECU diagnostics, flashing, test automation and simulation • OTA firmware-update architecture and debugging • Hardware/software integration and board bring-up • Schematics, component selection, power architecture and PCB-vendor coordination • Protocol analysis and reverse engineering using logs, CAN traces and Wireshark • System requirements, integration testing and verification Some examples of problems I have solved: • Developed a Python/DoIP ECU flashing tool by reverse-engineering diagnostic traffic and deployed it across 4 automotive test benches. • Architected a cellular IoT controller using nRF52840, Quectel EG25, Zephyr RTOS and RS485/Modbus and supported the product through manufacturing and delivery of 60 units. • Designed another custom nRF52840 cellular IoT product with a supercapacitor-based power architecture; 225 units were manufactured and delivered. • Debugged an intermittent OTA corruption problem in an embedded TCP/mTLS receive path, implemented the firmware fix and validated it through ~50 successful post-fix OTA runs before production release. • Built Python-CAN tools for automotive/avionics test automation and developed an HMI simulator by reverse-engineering CAN communication. • Automated an automotive MCU/NAD flashing and configuration workflow used for a production activity involving ~7,000 units. I am particularly useful when a project involves more than writing isolated firmware—for example, when hardware, firmware, communication protocols, cloud connectivity, diagnostics and test systems need to work together, or when an existing product has a difficult integration/debugging problem. I can support complete embedded product development as well as focused assignments such as firmware debugging, protocol analysis, ECU tooling, test automation, hardware review, connectivity troubleshooting or technical feasibility studies.
