Irina T.

Hello, I’m a scientific illustrator and animator with a background in cancer biology and biotechnology. I hold a PhD from the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ, Heidelberg) and currently work as a postdoctoral researcher at the Barts Cancer Institute, QMUL in London. Alongside my academic work, I collaborate with researchers, labs, biotech and pharma companies to turn complex scientific ideas into clear, visually strong illustrations and animations. My work has been used in scientific journals, textbooks, presentations, and educational materials. I work across 2D and 3D scientific visualization, including molecular structures, cellular processes, and biological pathways. I’m proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Blender, and I’m used to producing publication-ready figures as well as visuals for talks, grant applications, and pitch decks. What I can help with: ➡️ Scientific figures, graphical abstracts, infographics, posters, journal covers, and presentations ➡️ Lab and research branding, including logos and custom scientific illustrations ➡️ Scientific animation and motion graphics ➡️ Adobe Illustrator and InDesign training for scientists. If you’re looking for someone who understands both the science and how to communicate it visually, I’d be happy to help bring your ideas to life.
