Joel C.
Strategic Growth and Market Expansion Consultant
Most of the time, the issue isn’t that organisations don’t have a strategy. It’s that somewhere between the idea and the rollout, things stop making sense. You see it when a pilot shows promise but struggles to scale or when a market entry looks good on paper but becomes harder to navigate once real customers and constraints come into play. That gap between strategy and reality is usually where I work. I support businesses, NGOs and development focused organisations that are trying to figure out what comes next, not just in direction but in structure. How something actually holds once it starts moving. Right now, I’m involved in the rollout of a PAYG LPG model in Zambia by working through how it transitions from pilot into a commercially viable operation. I also support a UK based international care organisation with strategy and decision making in a regulated environment and I contribute as a technical expert on financial services consumer protection for a South African based learning institute. Before this, I managed and expanded solar-powered Energy Hubs across rural provinces of Zambia by turning underperforming sites into functioning business units and setting up new hubs from scratch. I also led a financial inclusion programme that reached over 16,000 people in Zambia by linking communities to financial service providers. Most clients don’t just need analysis. They need someone who can think through what happens next and shape something that works beyond the initial idea. If you’re working on growth, expansion or scaling a model, I’m open to a conversation.
