Olive R.

📍 From New Zealand, living in Indonesia. I’m a communications and content specialist who loves helping people understand things, whether that’s a medical topic, a brand story, or a conversation that deserves to be heard. With a background in journalism, medical writing, SEO, and audio-visual production, I’ve spent the last decade turning complex ideas into clear, engaging stories across articles, podcasts, video, and digital platforms. My work spans healthcare publishing, media, YouTube, and community-based storytelling, always with a focus on accuracy, warmth, and human connection. Much of my recent work has focused on medical and health communication, translating academic research into accessible, trustworthy content that helps people make informed decisions about their well-being. Alongside this, I produce SEO-optimised digital content designed to perform well in search while still feeling genuinely useful and easy to read. I also work in audio and podcast production, editing, and shaping conversations into compelling, professional episodes. Whether it’s a long-form interview, a community podcast, or branded content, I love finding the story within the sound and helping it land clearly with listeners. I’ve led creative teams, hosted podcasts, produced video and audio, and run my own small business; experiences that have made me collaborative, organised, and deeply people-focused. Outside of work, I’m a snowboarder, musician, seamstress, and voice artist, which probably explains why I’m happiest when I’m creating and communicating at the same time. I’m especially drawn to remote, purpose-driven work where storytelling, empathy, and clarity matter. If you’re building something meaningful and need someone who can bring words, voices, and ideas together, I’d love to connect.
