James S.

I'm a British musician, composer, English teacher, and Music Tutor based in Osaka, Japan. My musical output has ranged from my current symphonic power metal band project to synthpop-inspired game music and beyond. I am particularly adept at orchestration (aided by my studies in one of the UK's top classical music institutions). I also play guitar, bass, and drums, as well as having experience as a producer. I have taught numerous students of varying ages and levels across a wide range of locations/formats. I also have some experience writing, with an article published in the Antigone classics journal. My English comprehension is high. I am constantly exploring and widening my knowledge of grammar and writing on a near-daily basis. I love to talk, get to know collaborators, and work as a team player. The end result of the project always comes first; let's create the best output we can.
