Before that I spent 16 months writing authentication SDKs in four languages for a developer infrastructure company in Australia. SDK & API development: designing reusable SDKs, integrating external services, and exposing clean, well-documented interfaces for other developers. Databases & backend systems: relational databases, authentication flows, and scalable backend architectures. I'm comfortable owning features end-to-end, from design and implementation to testing and refinement, and I prioritise clear communication, realistic timelines and long-term maintainability. Based in Johannesburg (UTC+2), a full working day's overlap with Europe and the UK.
