Rona L.
Researcher, Professor, Chemical Engineer, Process Simulation Engineer
I am a University Researcher. In addition to my research role, I serve as an Affiliate Assistant Professor where I teach chemical engineering plant design with a focus on process design and simulation. I hold an MS degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Pollution Engineering, and I was honored with the Academic Excellence Award. My dedication to continuous learning is demonstrated through my active participation in seminars, training sessions, workshops, and technology surveillance initiatives centered on biofuels, renewable energy, and life cycle assessment. With nearly seven years of research experience, I have successfully managed a diverse array of projects in bioenergy (including biofuels and waste-to-energy) and life cycle assessment. These experiences have equipped me with a robust set of skills in research studies, program planning, project management, supervision, thesis mentoring, and industry engagement.
