A book I designed recently started getting sales within a week of launch. Good design and clean formatting really do affect how a book sells. I know how frustrating it is when your book is finished but you can’t get it published. You upload it to KDP and it gets rejected, or the margins are wrong, the cover size is off, or the EPUB won’t open properly. I fix those problems every day. I’ve been formatting books for over 6 years and have worked on more than 200 of them for authors and publishers. I do both the interior and the cover, so you don’t have to hire two people. I prepare files for Amazon KDP and IngramSpark, in paperback, hardcover and ebook. I also work on workbooks, journals, nonfiction with tables and charts, multilingual books, and PDFs that need to be rebuilt in InDesign. I mainly use Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and I check the small details like trim size, bleed, spine width and fonts before I send anything, so your files get accepted the first time.
