I am a Registered Nurse residing in the Philippines. I have both Hospital and Healthcare Virtual Assistant experience. I have been a Healthcare Virtual Assistant for the past 3 years with experience in scribing, transcribing and admin work as well. I assist the Doctor, Physician Assistant, and Nurse practitioner in documenting patient encounters in real-time. I listen carefully to the interaction and chart relevant details to the medical history, treatment plans, medications, laboratory requests, and follow-ups to the clinic’s EHR. I also have an experience in medical transcribing, I listen to provider-patient interaction and transfer all the necessary details to the patient's EHR. I ordered laboratories, imaging, medications, etc. together with the correct diagnosis and ICD-10 code. I also did admin works; scheduling, re-scheduling, preparing the charts of the patient before they are seen. I also interact with the patients thru call and e-mail. I assure and double-check the chart as I know this is a vital document that needs to be comprehensive and organized. I communicate real-time with the health care providers for any concerns and questions regarding the patient. With this experience, I gained knowledge of medical terminologies and specialties. It also improved my communication skills and learned the value of teamwork and adaptability.
