Syed Ali M.
Full Stack Developer | AI & SaaS Apps | iOS, Android, Web & Backend
I build iOS, Android and web apps, plus the backend and AI that power them. For the past year I've been building almost everything one SaaS company ships: their web platform, iOS and Android apps, Windows and Mac desktop apps, and the backend that ties it all together. I run a small team covering web, backend, Android and integrations, so I can take a whole product from the first screen to launch. You still deal with me directly, from the first call to the last release. What I've built - SaaS product suite (ongoing for a year): web platform, native iOS app, Android app, desktop sync apps for Windows and Mac that keep syncing even after the user logs out, an audit-trail service, and a Zoho integration. - HelioSync: connects a solar inverter to your phone. A small ESP32 bridge plugs into the inverter and sends readings to our server, every few seconds when someone is watching and every few minutes when not. The iOS app and web portal show live power, battery, solar and grid use, history, units and money saved, outage tracking, forecasts and instant fault alerts. Users can also change inverter settings and share access with family or their installer. - Pitwall: my own SaaS that runs a race team in one live system: season calendar, crew, travel, trucks and budgets, instead of spreadsheets and group chats. It reads booking PDFs and fills in the flights, flags crew clashes before they happen, and alerts the right people on their phones when something changes. - Receiptor: point the camera at a receipt and it reads the store, items and totals, then sorts it by category. - Hadith IQ: semantic search and narrator-chain analysis across hadith collections. - The Clipboard: a macOS clipboard manager. What you can hire me for - A new app or SaaS product, built end to end - Adding AI to a product you already have: chat, search over your own data (RAG), AI agents, OCR, speech - Apps that talk to hardware: ESP32, BLE, serial devices - Taking over an existing codebase, or finishing an app that started in Lovable, Bolt, Cursor or Claude Code Stack iOS and macOS: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Core ML, Vision Android: native Android apps Web: React, Next.js, TypeScript Backend: Python, FastAPI, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Firebase, Supabase, Docker AI: OpenAI and Claude APIs, RAG, AI agents, OCR, speech How I work I start with a small first milestone you can actually use, then build from there. You get written updates as we go, and if something is going to take longer or cost more, you hear it from me early. Send me a few lines about what you're building. I'll reply with how I'd approach it, what I'd build first, and where I see the risks.
