I'm Mak, Applied AI Engineer. I design and ship full AI systems across text, images, video, audio, agents, and pipelines. Not one specialization within generative AI but the full applied layer. I started the day ChatGPT launched in November 2022. Within hours I was experimenting. Since then I've won FlowGPT's first prompt engineering hackathon, built AI products for founders through Upwork, got invited to Anthropic's Red Team to test Claude models before public release, and now I'm Founding Head of Applied AI at Synthweave. At Synthweave I've shipped 30+ production tools and the prompting architecture behind our multi-agent platform. Before that I worked across healthcare, education, entertainment, beauty tech, and enterprise SaaS. What I'm best at is architecture and rapid prototyping. I can see how a pipeline runs before any code is written: where state lives, where agents hand off, where it'll break. Then I prototype fast against that. The other thing: I've spent years figuring out what these models can actually do, and there's almost always a better route than the obvious one. I've saved clients from scrapping projects by finding the real root cause (often the prompts weren't the problem at all) and built systems where the creative approach itself was the breakthrough.
